Gazebo Concerts (MarkeyTownship) - Concerts are held on Sunday afternoons at 2:00 in the summer months.  Presented by the Markey Township Women’s Improvement Group at the Markey Township Hall.  Music includes chorale groups, Men’s Quartets, and Folk and Folk Rock music for listening pleasure.  For more information contact (989)366-9614.

KCC for Performing Arts - Regular scheduled performances, including the Glen Miller orchestra, theater performances, concerts, art exhibits and much more.  All of this can be found at Kirtland Community College at 10775 N. Limberlost  - A well known entertainment spot, the Limberlost holds various summer beach parties and winter bashes.  The dining room is open for lunch and dinner and offer traditional dinners, Mexican fare, steak and seafood, and kids menus.  Bands from all over come to perform at the Limberlost.  Located at 4168 W. Senior Dance (Higgins Lake-Roscommon Chamber of Commerce) - This musical event is a formal spring dance put on by the Higgins Lake-Roscommon Chamber of Commerce.  Formerly known as the Senior Prom, it’s an annual event, usually in May.  Contact the Higgins Lake-Roscommon Chamber of Commerce at (989)275-8760 for dates and information.

Singles Dance (Atrium Plaza Hotel) -At 9285 Lake City Road ( M-55), Houghton Lake, every Friday and Sunday, admission fee of $7. 00.  Single people can go and dance and enjoy the DJ produced music from 7pm to 10pm and possibly find love in the process. (989) 422-5175.

St Helen Senior Center Dance - Records play, and floor is open for dancing from 7pm to 10 pm the last Friday of each month.  Bring any type of music and come and dance at the Senior Center at 10493 E. Airport Road.  Contact the St. Helen Senior Center at (989)389-7551 for more information.

The Polish Kid - Don Cialkowzewski and Company performing from 3pm to 7pm. This group is familiar to the area from the dances held once a month at the Historical Playhouse.  Don has been classically trained and has taught guitar, accordion, clarinet, trumpet and drums.  His music can range from classical to pop, from swing to polka tunes.  Whether you come to listen or come to dance it will be a treat.  Check the playhouse for schedule.  Call Dave or Alleene at (989)422-6393.  Reservations are suggested.
